Privacy
Your estate’s details stay yours
Probatly is built for people handling a family’s private affairs, so it is designed to know as little about you as possible.
No accounts, nothing to sign up for
Probatly has no accounts, no logins, and no forms that ask for your name, email, or any detail about the person who died or their estate. There is nothing to breach because there is nothing stored.
The tools run in your browser
The deadline tracker and the probate triage run entirely on your own device. The dates and figures you enter are never sent to a server, never stored, and never available to advertisers. Close the tab and they are gone.
Analytics, in aggregate only
We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to learn which pages and states are useful — page counts, not people. We do not build visitor profiles, and we do not sell or share personal data, because we do not collect any.
Advertising and affiliate links
Content pages may carry advertising, and some pages may contain clearly labelled affiliate links to estate-planning services; if you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no cost to you. Advertising never appears on the tools or in print views, and advertisers receive no information about what you entered into a tool.
External links
Probatly links extensively to official court and government websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which govern once you leave this one.
